Jennifer Simmonson, MAI

Jenn Simmonson is a third-generation Southern California real estate appraiser specializing in commercial valuation. She serves as a generalist with extensive, specialized expertise in valuing land, agribusiness, and natural resource properties across the West Coast and Hawaii. Her diverse client base includes estate attorneys, REITs, title companies, energy companies, local and national investment firms, development and operating companies, commercial and investment banks, and insurance companies.

Built on a foundation of management, accounting, and marketing, Ms. Simmonson is also an active leader in the community, currently serving as the President of the San Diego Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. Her leadership extends to serving on four non-profit boards, her alma mater’s alumni groups, and attending the Appraisal Institute’s Leadership and Development Advisory Council in Washington, D.C. in (2025 & 2026).

Megan Nicholas Harper

Megan Nicholas-Harper is Director of Water Resources at Nuveen Natural Capital, where she leads the integration of water resource management into agricultural asset management and investment strategy. She works to evaluate, manage and optimize natural capital investments, with a particular focus on identifying and addressing water-related risks and opportunities.

Her expertise spans water resource planning, agricultural water management, hydrology and natural capital valuation, enabling data-driven investment decisions that protect and enhance long-term asset value. By integrating environmental, operational, regulatory and financial considerations, Megan develops strategies that strengthen asset resilience, improve performance and support sustainable returns.

Rosemary Knight

Rosemary Knight is the George L. Harrington Professor of Geophysics at Stanford University, and Senior Fellow in the Woods Institute for the Environment. Rosemary received her Ph.D. in Geophysics from Stanford, was on the faculty at the University of British Columbia for 13 years, returning to Stanford in 2000.

Rosemary has worked for more than 30 years on the challenge of using geophysical methods – with sensors on satellite, airborne, and land/water-based platforms - for groundwater science and management.

Collaboration with local and state agencies and with nonprofit organizations to move “knowledge into action” has been, and remains, central to the work done by Rosemary with her research group. Rosemary’s current passion: Taking the Pulse of the Planet, a research and teaching initiative at Stanford operating at the interface between sensor technology and data science to discover new ways to obtain the actionable data we need to meet global-scale challenges in sustainability.

Nati Louzon

Nati Louzon joined IDE in 2010, overseeing worldwide maintenance and operational support for IDE plants. As a water treatment professional and IDE’ O&M Department Director, he has extensive experience designing, engineering, building, and operating small and medium water treatment projects.

Having excelled at IDE Technologies for over a decade, Mr. Louzon has notably managed significant undertakings, including the Reliance SWRO and Santa Barbara large-scale plants.

Bobby Majumder

Bobby Majumder is Co-Chair of FBT Gibbons’ Energy Industry Team and a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. His practice is focused on corporate and securities transactions primarily in the energy (oil & gas, coal, and renewables), mining, health care, and information technology industry verticals.

He represents underwriters, placement agents, and issuers in both public and private offerings of securities; public and privately-held companies in both cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions (M&A); private equity funds, hedge funds, and venture capital funds in connection with their formation as well as their investments; and companies receiving private equity and venture capital financing.
